WHAT'S THIS? What's this ? I've built other sites for other people so I decided to build me this little one till I have a chance to build up a real nice one. About Johnnie Well about me ....hmmmm let's see. I'm 28 years old . I'm currently work as a electronics & machine tech, in the Clearwater,Fl area. My "other job" which isn't really a job but I take it very seriously is that I help Juan Cintron on his race team (check out that site (a link is on the link page), which I built and am currently revamping). Where my duty's include all web tech stuff, shop worker , team manager , pit crew at the races , and just about anything else I can help out with. Johnnie's "REAL JOB" My "Real Job" is just great I have one of the best boss' that I could every wish for Mr. Mark Meister. What other boss would let you take 4 to 5 days off at a time and let me go and help out with my "other job." Not only that but stepped up and is sponsoring my leathers when I assume an added responsibility at my "other job." I've been at ELECTRO-COMP TAPE & REEL SERVICES for over 7 years. Where I have alot of responsibilities , from everything to running parts to fixing automated machines to changing light bulbs. Don't get me wrong there have been times I've just wanted to quit but Mark being the not only good boss but someone you can actually talk to . My "OTHER JOB" Now this is just a dream come true . You may say that it must be stressing with all my responsibilities. At times it is but I grew up with my wonderful father getting me around the cars as early as I can remember. I was changing oil by the time I was 8 yrs. old. My mother even raced, that is still stuck in my head. From watching the great Bob Glidden making laps in his PRO STOCK PINTO to having my Hero Shirley Muldowney pick me up when I was a wee little kid and sit me in her car. Sorry I guess I started to ramble a bit there. Juan is the best he has taken me under his wing so to speak. I met Juan for the first time back in '88 and between him and another friend got me into Motorcycle Drag Racing. Even after I drifted away for a long while because of my ex. He let me jump right back in where I left off teaching me tutoring me and being the big brother I never had. If I'm not at my real job u can find me at Juan's shop helping to get his bike ready for the next National event. History I was born in the BLUEGRASS State. I'm a big WILDCAT fan and will always be one. Well lets see I've always been into bikes of one form or another. I can remember watching the great Terry Vance running his drag bike when I was real young. I had a old scooter that didn't have a motor that I took to the nearest hill and was pretending I was him traveling down the 1/4 mile. When my parents got divorced my mother, sister, and me moved to Florida. I saw some kids doing stunts on there bikes and I was Hooked. I started riding met some great friends. Even competed on a Florida circuit and Won the Ramp Championship in '88. After I got out of that for some odd reason that I don't remember that's when I met Juan. After a couple years I got into the custom lowrider thing that was still in it's infancy then. Started a car club that was just a great experience, met a wonderful girl that I almost married . After all that I got back into the bike stunt thing again when everyone told me that I was too old I didn't care it was fun and that is what it's all about. After some competing on another circuit and having a whole lot of fun. I was competing in a contest at The WARPED TOUR and shattered my heel which took time to heal I wanted to get back to riding but it just didn't feel right (my heel that is.) It seemed that my heel didn't heal right. I would go down in a heap of pain and misery if I stepped on a root the wrong way. I had surgery a year later to help fix the problem. What they did was to put in 2 screws in my foot one diagonally up from the bottom right to the top left. The other is the big one it goes from the bottom very back of heel diagonally up half way to my toes about where my instep is. Also with bone graphed from my hip and fused on top of my ankle, so you can't tell I have a ankle any more. Needless to say my foot only moves up and down no side to side. That's ok all I need it for now is to push the break on my dragbike.
